I'M NOT HERE TO OPTIMIZE YOU.
I'M HERE TO HELP YOU REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.

My name is Josephin Oehme – poet, founder of GinkgoMinds, trauma coach for sensitive rebels, and sometimes just a woman with too many thoughts and a very tender heart. Over the past years, I’ve trained as a fitness coach, psychological counsellor, and meditation teacher. I studied communication, immersed myself in bodywork, coaching methods, mindfulness, and psychology – and taught myself how to heal without losing who I am in the process. But the truth is: life has been my greatest teacher. The therapies, the breakups, the panic attacks. The physical and emotional violence. The anger, the longing, the silence. The ongoing search for a real home inside myself.

I don’t know trauma from books – I know it from my own nervous system. From sleepless nights. From relationships where I lost myself. From the exhausting dance between being “too much” and never enough. For years, I searched for answers outside of myself – through coaches, gurus, and spiritual promises. I learned tools, breathing techniques, shadow work, and systemic methods. At some point, I understood: healing isn’t a goal. It’s a language we have to relearn. And sometimes, that language sounds like poetry.

During all of this, I wrote. Not because I wanted to become a writer – but because I had no other choice. Writing became my compass, my way back to myself. Poems, essays, fragments – messy, raw, honest. Out of these words, GinkgoMinds was born: a space where creative expression heals. A world where coaching doesn’t fix you but walks beside you. An archive of the self. A map for those who’ve lost themselves – and are ready to come home.
There is no shortcut to heaven – but here’s a beautiful, messy map.

Today, I guide people who are done bending themselves to fit in. I offer 1:1 sessions for deep, honest conversations – not surface-level advice. I create courses and workbooks that don’t push you harder, but make room for you to breathe. I write for the ones who feel like they’re “too much” – too emotional, too sensitive, too queer, too loud, too quiet, too fragile. For those who know they need to build their own path somewhere between spirituality and reality.

I am neurodivergent, living with ADHD – sometimes wild, sometimes wordless. I am pansexual, highly sensitive, feminist, spiritual – and critical, too. I’m a mother, a daughter, a friend, a partner – and sometimes just someone who can’t get out of bed in the morning. I don’t believe we have to be “ready” to begin. I believe we’re already enough. And I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that you found your way here.

This isn’t a traditional coaching site. It’s a space. A garden of thoughts, poems, and possibilities. You won’t find perfect plans or empty promises here. But maybe you’ll find words that remind you. Courses that bring you back. And coaching that doesn’t try to fix you – but truly sees you.

If you’re ready to meet yourself in a new way – honest, unfiltered, wild and soft – you’re in the right place. I’m not your solution. But I offer you a space where you can finally exhale.

ABOUT GINGKOMINDS

GinkgoMinds begins with a memory.

My brother once gave my mother a ginkgo tree for her birthday. It still stands in her garden. Over the years, it has grown quietly and steadily, becoming tall, rooted, impossible to miss.

My brother has passed away.
The name GinkgoMinds is dedicated to him — and to the idea that something small can grow into something enduring. That growth takes time. That life leaves traces, even when someone is gone.

The ginkgo is known as a tree of memory. It reminds us that the past does not disappear, but becomes part of what continues to grow.

This work follows the same movement. It does not believe in shortcuts or quick fixes, but in slow understanding. In the interplay of body, experience, memory, and meaning. In growth that is quiet, but deep.

GinkgoMinds is not a project.
It is a place for processes that are allowed to grow — in their own time.
