LOVE WITH CONFIDENCE
FIND & UNDERSTAND YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE

Our personal love language shapes how we experience, express, and receive love.
Through targeted reflection and practical exercises, you will discover what matters to you in relationships and how to authentically communicate what lies at your heart.
This course supports you in building self-love, recognizing your needs, and creating more fulfilling relationships—with yourself and others.

The idea of the “5 Love Languages” was first introduced by Dr. Gary Chapman in his 1992 book The 5 Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate. Chapman developed his theory after repeatedly encountering the same issue in his work as a marriage counselor: people expressed love to their partner in their own way but didn’t understand why it wasn’t always received. His solution was a model explaining that everyone has a preferred way of receiving and expressing love. These languages are:

  • Words of affirmation

  • Acts of service

  • Receiving gifts

  • Quality time

  • Physical touch

According to Chapman, misunderstandings in relationships can arise when partners speak different love languages and therefore fail to recognize the affection the other is showing. His theory is based on the observation that love is experienced differently by each person and offers a practical approach to bridge those differences.

How a test can help you
The “5 Love Languages” test gives you an easy way to discover which language makes you feel most loved. With just a few questions, you can find out whether you feel most cherished through words of affirmation, small acts of service, receiving thoughtful gifts, or spending quality time with others. The results are not only helpful for strengthening relationships but also serve as a powerful tool for self-reflection.

When you know your love language, you can communicate more mindfully with your partner, friends, or family. You’ll better understand why certain gestures matter more to you than others—and at the same time, you can respect the needs of those around you. Moreover, understanding your love language fosters self-love, helping you treat yourself with the same care and appreciation you seek from others.
