IMPORTANT THINGS FOR YOU

To ensure that our work together is effective and meaningful for you, I’d like to share a few foundational guidelines. They are meant to set clear expectations and help you get the most out of our shared process. These guidelines don’t just create structure — they also lay the groundwork for a trusting and purposeful collaboration.

TRAUMA COUNSELLING – ONLINE FRAMEWORK

These guidelines are intended to provide a safe, transparent, and reliable framework for our work together in the context of trauma counselling.

Trauma counselling sessions are offered exclusively online. Appointments can be booked via my website or by email. No special preparation is required. Some clients find it helpful to briefly reflect beforehand on the topics, questions, or inner processes that feel most present for them.

Everything discussed during our sessions is treated with strict confidentiality. A respectful, attentive, and open approach forms the foundation of our work. Each session is individual and guided by your needs and pace. Our work may include conversation, reflection, and resource-oriented, creative, or body-based elements. There is no fixed structure; we work with what emerges.

For online sessions, please ensure that you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, private, and uninterrupted space. A secure and protected setting is essential for trauma-informed work.

Our work does not end when the session concludes. Take time afterwards to gently integrate insights, impulses, or small practices into your daily life. Change often unfolds between sessions.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made at shorter notice cannot be refunded. Please arrive on time for your online session; if you arrive late, the session will be shortened accordingly to respect subsequent appointments.

Trauma counselling does not replace medical, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic treatment. It is a supportive, resource-oriented approach aimed at fostering self-awareness, stability, and personal development.

Disclaimer and Responsibility

Participation in trauma counselling is at your own responsibility. In cases of acute psychological crisis or severe psychiatric conditions, I recommend seeking support from medical or psychotherapeutic professionals.
