They set clear expectations and help you get the most out of the process, while creating a structured and grounded space for focused, honest work.
HOW WE WORK
Before we begin, please take a moment to read the following.
THE NATURE OF THIS WORK
This is psychological consulting and trauma-informed coaching.
It is not psychotherapy and does not replace medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment.
I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
If you are in acute crisis, please seek appropriate medical or emergency support.
RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for your own mental and emotional wellbeing.
This work can be deep, activating, and sometimes uncomfortable.
You choose what you share, how far you go, and what you do with what emerges.
I guide. I reflect. I support.
But I do not take responsibility for your decisions or outcomes.
COMMITMENT
Real work requires presence.
Please arrive on time, in a space where you can focus without interruption.
If you are late, the session will still end at the agreed time.
Consistency matters more than intensity.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Everything you share is treated as confidential.
The only exception is where I am legally required to act (e.g. risk of harm to yourself or others).
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
Sessions must be paid in advance.
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged in full.
ONLINE SESSIONS
Sessions take place via video call.
You are responsible for a stable internet connection and a private, uninterrupted space.
QUESTIONNAIRE
Before we begin working together, you will complete a short online questionnaire.
This allows me to understand your background, your goals, and your nervous system patterns — so we can start at depth, not at the surface.
WHAT THIS SPACE IS — AND ISN’T
This is not a space for performance.
You don’t have to be articulate, healed, or “ready.”
You just have to be honest.
I won’t optimise you.
I won’t push you beyond your nervous system’s capacity.
And I won’t collude with patterns that keep you stuck.
This is a space for clarity, regulation, and real change.
AGREEMENT
By booking a session, you confirm that you have read and understood these guidelines.
